Hi all, reminder Main Working Bee is this Saturday and Sunday!

We will be working on the track on both days, starting from 10:00 a.m. each day, and we need all hands on deck.

The track will be tilled and will need to be raked flat and prepared for rolling. Please bring a garden rake or lawn rake if you have one.

Lunch will be provided on both days!!

Please come along and help—even a few hours will make a big difference. The more hands we have, the faster we can get the track prepared and ready for racing!!

HRCCC WORKING BEE UPDATE

This weekend’s working bee was scheduled for Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September. However, while Saturday’s weather is looking reasonable, Sunday’s forecast is not looking good.

Saturday 26 September

We will hold a short working bee on Saturday morning to remove the pipe coping from around the track and stack it neatly beside the track. This will prepare the track for our main working bee the following weekend.

Please bring:

Battery drills
Torx bits
Suitable footwear for wet ground

A short burst of rain is currently forecast for around 7:00 a.m., lasting approximately an hour. Because the grass will be wet, we will not be spraying or undertaking any other work.

If we have enough people helping, removing and stacking the piping should only take one to two hours, which is the aim.

Due to the poor weather forecast, we will not be carrying out a working bee on Sunday.

Hi all, reminder we have our working bee for the Harewood champs this weekend!

We need hands on deck Saturday morning to remove coping and possibly a few other jobs, please come and lend a hand if you can. In case of poor weather we will advise of any cancellation here.

Many hands make light work, please come and support your local club!

Harewood RC Club Working Bee – Revised Dates

Our upcoming working bee has been rescheduled due to other commitments and will now be held on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the postponement dates will be Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October.

We’re going to need plenty of hands on deck, particularly on Saturday morning. Jobs will include removing the track coping, raking and preparing the track, and getting the facility looking its best for the Champs.

If you’re able to help, please bring battery drills, rakes and screeds if you have them. We’ll split everyone into teams and get stuck in—the more hands we have, the quicker we can get the work completed.

Lunch will be provided for everyone helping. If you have any special dietary requirements, please bring something suitable for yourself.

Whether you can spare a couple of hours or help for the whole weekend, every extra pair of hands will make a difference. We would love to see a great turnout and appreciate everyone who can lend a hand.
