A current, valid full car driver's licence (Class C) is all you need to drive an Apollo campervan or motorhome anywhere in Australia. No special motorhome licence required — just your regular car licence and you're ready to explore.

3. What licence do you need to drive a campervan in New Zealand? 🇳🇿

A current, valid full car driver's licence (Class 1) is all you need to drive an Apollo campervan or motorhome across NZ. No special motorhome licence needed - pack up and hit the road!

4. Can I drive a rental campervan with an overseas licence? 🌍

Yes, international visitors can generally drive an Apollo campervan using a current and valid overseas car licence, provided it meets the rental requirements for your destination.

5. Do you need an International Driving Permit (IDP) for your campervan trip? 🧐

If your overseas licence isn't in English, you'll need an IDP or an approved English translation - plus your original licence. Remember: an IDP doesn't replace your driver's licence, so bring both.

Wondering what licence you need to drive a campervan in New Zealand? Let's break it down 👇

No special licence required. A standard New Zealand Class 1 licence lets you drive any of our campervans or motorhomes.

Visiting from overseas? In most cases, your current, valid overseas car licence will work just fine. If your licence isn't in English, you'll need an approved English translation or an International Driving Permit.
