Very excited that Fraser is returning to SRT for his second season of racing.

Fraser will be piloting our new 5c Lightning Sprint.

We wish him all the best for the upcoming season.

Meet the drivers for the 26/27 race season.

Next up Fraser Hardy.

Fraser was introduced to open wheel racing while pit crewing for the Savy Racing Team during the 24/25 season, he was offered a drive late in the season and got one heat in before the meeting was cancelled.

He then took over the SRT 44c for the 25/26 season and ran that for majority of the season before the car suffered some major engine damage and he took over the 55c for the remainder of meets.

During that time Fraser managed to have one of the worst Lighting Sprint accidents out at Ellesmere Speedway followed by the car bursting into flames on him two weeks later at the same track.

Fraser finished off the 25/26 season bringing in a 2nd in the Ellesmere Champs, a podium 3rd at Ruapuna Speedway and a 3rd in the Lightning Sprint best pairs.

Fraser is fired up to be back on the track and is looking forward to a big season ahead in the Lightning Sprints.

We welcome Fraser back to the Lightning Sprint class and wish him all the best for the 26/27 race season.

Another massive thanks to Alyssa at Astyla Design for another amazing design on the Lighting Sprints.

We’re definitely changing things up for the coming season round here and we’re so excited, race season can’t come quick enough!

While the 44c is not owned by SRT anymore, Luke will continue to run the Lightning Sprint under the Savy Racing Team banner.

We are so excited to share our new graphics and merch design for the 26/27 race season for our Lightning Sprint and Quarter Midget

We have had a complete revamp at SRT for the new season and finally ditched the green!

Mid season update!

Phew that few months went fast!

But with only 13 weeks until green sheeting and 14 short weeks until we’re back on the track, we’ve been working our buts off rebuilding our Lightning Sprints!

Our 55c has had a chassis change and number change for the upcoming season so we’re busy putting it back together to make sure everything fits, then we will restrip and send it away for powder coating and get her all back together for the upcoming season.

We have just taken an early morning trip to KH fabrication ltd to see the progress on Charli’s 1/4 midget chassis which is now in full swing and drop off his seat, he’s been measured for height etc so a few more tweaks and we will have that home to finish building.

Our 44c Luke has now purchased for himself so I don’t have much of an update on this at the moment.

We have had a revamp graphic wise for the new season, Alyssa at Astyla Design has done an amazing job of the car graphics for both cars and our new merchandise.

We have definitely been busy behind the scenes and are all very much looking forward to getting back to the track and some warmer weather!

Awesome day out at Hazard County to finish off the season!

We came home second in the Ellesmere Champs, congratulations to Fraser on this achievement!

Fraser had a few hairy moments and bouncing off the wall hard in turn 4 mid heat two but we switched out the wheel for the feature and crossed the final checkered flag of the season with another third.

Massive thanks to Ellesmere Motor Racing Club for putting up another brilliant track, you guys never fail to deliver!

After the season we’ve had, it’s so good to finish on a high!

Big thanks to everyone who helps us go racing!

We will now concentrate on the off season strip downs and rebuilds to come back stronger next season, possibly with an extra car or two!

WAKE UP! IT’S RACE DAY!!

Today we hit the clay oval for one last time for the Ellesmere Champs before we park the cars up for the off season.

We’ve decided we’re hitting the track for one last time!

This Saturday 25th April we hit up Ellesmere Motor Racing Club for one final meet before we give the cars some much needed maintenance!

We’ve had flips and fires our last two meets out at Hazard County so fingers crossed the “third time lucky” rule kicks in!
