This K6 had sustained a dent to the topsides. Any dent should always have the foam core replaced because the bond between the laminate and core is now compromised. A new section of core is bonded in place, laminated and finished.

The rig came down on this Carbon 20 whilst competing . The shroud point failed, pulling off a section of deck laminate. Thankfully, the mast survived with just minor scratches.
The shroud point has been completely rebuilt and reinforced (along with the opposite side).
The repair was finished off with some fresh grip.
