Military Appreciation Month

Today, we proudly recognize John Estrada for his service, leadership, and dedication both in and out of uniform.

John graduated 2nd in his U.S. Navy bootcamp class in 1988 before becoming a U.S. Navy Seabee — the Navy’s construction force known for their motto: “We Build, We Fight.” He later served with his reserve unit at the U.S. Marine Reserve Base on Elder Creek here in Sacramento.

The discipline, integrity, and mission-focused mindset John developed through his military service continue to shape his leadership style at Kniesel’s Collision today. John’s commitment to customer service and his ability to bring out the best in those around him make a lasting impact on our teams every day.

Inspired by his father’s 28-year Army career, Stephen joined the California Army National Guard at 19, where he developed the leadership, accountability, and teamwork skills that continue to guide him today. Those values are reflected in the care and integrity he brings to every customer interaction at Kniesel’s Collision.

Steven takes pride in serving the Natomas community and ensuring every repair is handled with precision and professionalism. A devoted husband and father of three, his commitment to service extends far beyond the workplace.

Today, we’re proud to recognize Adrian, our Parts Coordinator at Kniesel’s Collision – Specialized, for his service and dedication both in and out of uniform.

After high school, Adrian joined the United States Army to gain direction as he began his adult life. During his military service, he developed discipline, accountability, and valuable life skills that continue to shape his work ethic today. Adrian is especially grateful for the opportunities the military provided him — from travel experiences and personal growth to long-term benefits like the VA loan program.

At Kniesel’s Collision, Adrian brings that same military-driven focus and commitment to our team every day. As a Parts Coordinator, attention to detail, organization, teamwork, and reliability are critical — all qualities strengthened through his time in the Army. His ability to stay disciplined under pressure and support the team helps keep repairs moving efficiently and customers taken care of.

As temperatures begin climbing across the Sacramento Valley, a quick stop can turn dangerous in minutes. A vehicle’s interior can heat up rapidly — even on mild days — putting children at serious risk for heatstroke. NHTSA reminds families to always “Stop. Look. Lock.” before walking away from their vehicle.

☀️ A few simple habits can save lives:
✔️ Check the back seat every time you park
✔️ Leave a purse, phone, or work bag in the back as a reminder
✔️ Lock your vehicle when not in use
✔️ If you see a child alone in a vehicle, call 911 immediately

Heatstroke can happen faster than most people realize — and these tragedies are 100% preventable. Let’s keep our families and communities safe this summer. ❤️
