JRZ RS Pro rebuild 🔧

A proper suspension setup is only as good as the condition of the dampers underneath it.

This set of JRZ RS Pros came through VEX Performance for a full rebuild and refresh, getting them ready to go back into service and perform the way they should.

The RS Pro is a motorsport-derived, external-reservoir damper featuring independent compression and rebound adjustment, along with adjustable nitrogen pressure. Built for serious street and track use, they’re also designed with serviceability and rebuildability in mind.

Whether it’s a dedicated track car or a high-performance street build, keeping quality dampers properly serviced is an important part of maintaining consistent suspension performance.

Another R35 GT-R getting a serious brake upgrade. 🔥

This GT-R is now equipped with a Speed By Design Carbon Ceramic brake setup, cutting a significant amount of rotating and unsprung mass compared to the factory iron rotors.

SBD’s carbon ceramic rotors feature:
🏁 3D woven long-fiber carbon ceramic construction
🏁 Approximately 50% lighter than the factory iron rotors
🏁 7075-T6 billet aluminum hats
🏁 Directional internal vanes for heat management
🏁 Significantly reduced brake dust
🏁 Designed as a direct-fit upgrade in factory sizing

Less rotating mass, less unsprung weight, and carbon ceramic performance all wrapped into one very nice upgrade for the R35 platform.

🔴 RF — retractable fastback, hardtop looks and a little more refinement.

🔵 Soft Top — lighter, simpler, and the classic Miata experience.

Same recipe underneath: lightweight, rear-wheel drive, manual transmission, and a naturally aspirated 2.0L making 181 hp.

We recently fitted this customer’s R35 GT-R with a set of Nitron coilovers, but the job didn’t stop when it left the lift.

We took the car out to the track to put the suspension through its paces and work through the setup in the environment it was built for. Damper settings, balance, driver feedback — making adjustments and getting the car dialed in where it matters.

Nitron’s motorsport-derived dampers offer a wide range of adjustment, giving us the ability to fine-tune the suspension to suit the car, driver, and intended use.
