In recognition of National Truth and Reconciliation Day and in the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Tsuut’ina, Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. We also acknowledge the pain and suffering of Indigenous people as a result of the residential school system.
As a show of support, Taza Park Volkswagen, Metro Ford and Big 4 Motors joined together to contribute a $10,000 donation to the Tsuut'ina Foodbank, which provides essential support to Nation members every month.
We are grateful for the opportunity to come together for the Tsuut'ina Foodbank and the important work they do for Nation members. We value the relationships we have built within the Tsuut’ina community and look forward to continuing to support initiatives that make a positive impact for years to come.
