Widely considered the most desirable years of the R129 generation, this 1998 SL500 combines the AMG Sport Package with Mercedes-Benz’s legendary M119 5.0L 32-valve V8 — a combination offered only in 1997 and 1998. Optioned with the rare and highly desirable Panoramic Glass Hardtop.

Originally owned by a Mercedes-Benz Canada executive in Vancouver, followed by one mature long-term owner until 2024.
Over the past two years, $18,000 has been invested in mechanical and cosmetic improvements. The only known deficiency is deterioration of the vinyl windows in the convertible soft top.
