Not all engine damage is obvious.

These push rods may all look fine at first glance, but they should all be the exact same length. Even a slight difference can indicate a bent push rod or valve train issues that can lead to ticking, poor performance, and costly engine damage.

It’s a good reminder that proper diagnosis matters. Sometimes the smallest parts tell the biggest story.

* Has experience diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles.
* Takes pride in doing quality work the first time.
* Is dependable, motivated, and works well independently.
* Wants to be part of a shop that values honesty, teamwork, and craftsmanship.

This is a really neat piece of automotive history we found today in one of our projects.

This is a vintage mileage calculator, often given away by gas stations, oil companies, or dealerships in the 1940s–1960s. Before calculators and smartphones, drivers used these slide rules to figure out their fuel economy.

 The back identifies it as a “Deluxe Mile Teller,” which was a promotional mileage and maintenance record slide rule commonly handed out by gas stations, repair shops, dealerships, and insurance companies during the late 1940s through the 1950s.

Pretty neat 😁
