Great start to our week here at the shop!
Check out this beautiful 1965 Mustang🐎🚙

It came in for some upgrades to modernize the interior. New sound system with bluetooth functionality (completely concealed for original look), fully electronic Dakota Digital dash, and a wood grain steering wheel.

Today we tackled the audio package.
Bluetooth receiver✅
New front dash speakers✅
New package tray✅
Added rear 6x9s✅

☀️Happy Tuesday!!☀️
Check out this awesome 1997 Subaru we had in yesterday for some love. This is one of our delivery drivers personal vehicles.

We restored the OEM Subaru wheels by powder coating them gold to bring them back to their former glory. We also cut out the blown flex pipe and replaced it with a straight piece of stainless per customer request. We wrapped things up with a four wheel alignment.

Such a nice example of a well built vehicle.
BONUS; it was right hand drive, how sweet!!

🛻ATTENTION 79-94 GM TRUCK OWNERS🛻

Do you have a classic GM pick-up truck with excessive play in the steering system?

Your original steering shaft was assembled with a rag joint from the manufacturer. It tends to be worn and original in a lot of these trucks you see on the road.

Rag joint failure occurs when the rubber steering coupler disc between the steering column and gearbox deteriorates, leading to loose steering, excessive play (slop), and vibrations. Primarily caused by heat, oil, and age (dry rot), the rubber tears or degrades, which can result in catastrophic failure if the metal safety tabs fail.

Luckily we caught this one before anything could happen. We upgraded the original steering shaft to a modern style, double u-joint system. This tightened everything in the steering up and made the truck drive like new. Give us a call if this is something your classic needs!!! 616-887-5600

Happy Tuesday everybody!!!

Today we installed a Stainless Works long tube header kit on one of our valued customers 2018 5.0 Mustang. It is loud, to say the least!!! We also did a quick transmission service to make sure the car continues to shift through its gears smoothly.

One of our appreciated customers brought us their new truck for a 3 inch lift kit.

While upgrading the truck, we noticed that the passenger wheel had a slight drag and the performance rotors were on backwards. Upon removal, we found the pads were on backwards as well.

Someone in the past tried to save a couple bucks by doing it themselves but improper installation caused premature failure, ultimately costing more in the end!! Bring it to the professionals.
