*Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportaion
*Must have own tools
*Must like 3 day weekends 😎 (work Mon-Thurs)

With the invention of gasoline direct injection, it’s not so easy to keep your engines valves clean. The detergents in fuel never reach the backside of the valves with this new technology. The build-up of carbon can cause hard starting, hesitation, and stumbling performance concerns. This service should be performed every 15,000 to 30,000 miles. We had to remove the intake manifold on this customers GMC Acadia to access the thermostat assembly. Seeing how carboned the valves were, we recommended a valve cleaning service using an abrasive blasting system that uses walnut shell grindings.

Tyler and I are now doing Fluid Film undercoating at the shop. I know many of you have asked about it in previous years when we were doing our own vehicles. It is now available in black, which looks awesome on trucks and SUVs where you can see the frame. I did our first one in black this morning and I am super happy with how it covers and looks.
