Learned something new that may help all the other shop and business owners that follow me. Out going shipping the last couple weeks has been chaos for me. I had two customers reach out and let me know why since they had experienced it previously and noticed when they got their stuff what was happening. Some packing tapes have a chemical that reacts with thermal paper and makes it turn blank mid shipment. This has never been an issue previously but I got a new case of the same tape ive been using for years a couple weeks ago. I guess they changed something and now everything was going blank mid shipment and some was delivered some lost and some returned depending on what parts of the label were blank. If you look up label bleaching you can find articles and one customer sent a link to uline tape they use and thats safe. Hopefully this post helps save others from this.

More working on the website late at night. Would you guys rather have a link for a cell phone app like this that I made in the tech section or would people prefer I make it a calculator on the website that works on computer or cell phone browser? Its a 2 stroke squish calculator you just enter the stroke for whatever engine you are working on and it spits out specs and info for you.

I started making these when I was sick and want to finalize them soon. Any of my customers with lectrons have any other basic tuning info that you think should be on here? This just has all the info from my short video on it and the two versions have the same info one is just cartoon like. I figured a single simple sheet would be nice for customers since no one reads the 4 page instructions then asks me questions (I also dont read instructions so I cant fault any of you)

I got a bunch of good feedback in my messages from people about yesterday's post so I figured I would ask another question. How do people feel about paper instructions in a box vs having to go to the website for them? I can see both sides of it so im curious how you guys feel. Stuff is purchased on the website so I know if instructions were listed there you can find it. I know some people like paper they can keep in their manual or tool box. Frequently people reach out with questions about things that are in products that come with instructions or charts and say they didn't see them in the box. Its probably going to be divided and not help me decide but I figured I would ask.

Please read.

I would like some input or feedback back on how easy the new jetting chart I made is to understand. Pic in comments some people would struggle with the old ones because the key for the chart wasn'tclear enough. Also remade the 125 ones that I lost when the shop computer died. They are all this same configuration.

The other thing I would like some input on is the website. Im trying to decide what to do for different sections. Do you guys find it hard to navigate all the different pages or should I condense them or expand and add more sections? I frequently get compliments for having a lot on it but I don't really like how its laid out. Ultimately you guys the end user is all that matters so what do you have for website layout or content suggestions that would be easier for you? I think i want to condense some of it and move the basics to the home page then really expand on the tech section so its easy for people to reference how to and technical data. Im open to all feedback on the website though.

Final warning on the sale on the website. Computer place called and the shop computer is supposedly fixed again. If it really is I will be trying to update the website this weekend and will be increasing pricing. Also thank you to everyone that has tolerated me coughing, hacking and sounding like death during phone conversations its been a rough few weeks. Picture of stock vs heavy duty pv plate we make for attention.
