The 992 Carrera continues to prove that a few basic bolt-on engine mods can transcend the performance capabilities of these already astonishing when bone stock 911’s. This particular 992 C2S claims to have established the new speed record spinning the factory turbos and the numbers are indeed impressive. Acceleration stats are as follows… 60 Foot in 2.30, 0-62 in 4.44, 1/8 mile in 7.81, 1/4 Mile in 11.45, and 1/2 Mile in 17.18.

Primeira parte do projeto finalizada e comprovada na primeira prova de 1/2 milha do carro com novo setup, 272,9km/h com turbos ainda originais.
Pelo que pesquisei acredito ser record mundial.
Infelizmente não tínhamos um mínimo de tração para largar mais forte, se os 60 pés fossem legais, 274-275km/h seriam realidade.

Carro não foi passado no dinamômetro (nem vai), como sempre foi acertado na rua, mas acredito que seja algo em torno de 600whp ou 700+ de motor.

Pra se ter ideia da força do nosso Carrera, um Turbo S 992 original passa em média 258-260km/h na 1/2 milha.

Estamos MUITO felizes com o resultado, mais uma vez mostrando que acerto de Porsche é de fato a nossa praia. Obrigado a todos que acompanham o projeto, em breve turbos híbridos e 280+ km/h.

Here’s another great collaborative Carrera project courtesy of Jared Brinkley, Ahmed Habibi & Habibi Motorsports. This 991.2 Carrera S features a host of proven engine upgrades that include TiAL Sport turbo inlets, COBB Tuning with PDK flashing, Flat 6 Motorsports, BMC Air Filters and of course an IPD Plenum. This Carrera laid down an impressive 488hp & 496 lb-ft of torque on the dyno putting this Carrera’s engine output in Turbo territory.

The IPD Plenum splits and channels intake air flow in a more superior manner that optimizes laminar flow, increases air velocity and minimizes turbulence delivering impressive HP & TQ gains across both power curves while also improving boost response. Thanks to

I want to thank my friend Ahmed Habibi & Habibi Motorsports for installing the TiAL Sport turbo inlets & the COBB Tuning with PDk flashing. After correcting a pinched vacuum line, a ruptured vacuum line to the boost control solenoid, & finding a intercooler coupler partially connected we produced some serious power. His dyno gave the results of 488hp & 496 lb-ft of torque. I also want to thank Josh Kloppenberg for getting the IPD Plenums Flat 6 Motorsports diverter valves BMC Air Filters & Tial Sport intake tubes installed. I’m extremely happy with my Carrara S

Our friends at Freed Performance in Cu***ng, Georgia, just finished raising the bar on another Porsche project! Extracting power from the 991.1 naturally aspirated Carrera engine can be challenging, especially since these Carreras already come equipped with the larger 82mm GT3 Throttle Body. But the IPD Plenum substantially improves intake air flow, delivering impressive net HP and TQ gains across both power curves, elevating the 991.1 Carrera driving experience to the next level. Porsche Poised for 24 Hours of Le Mans, But Not with the Prolific 963

Porsche’s presence at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2026 is uniquely focused on the GT ranks. Following a factory withdrawal from the WEC Hypercar class, there will be no official factory-backed 963 entries fighting for the outright win. Instead, the brand’s legacy is stiving to build on its motorsport history with competitive customer “911” teams and anniversary celebrations, particularly with the Manthey team, who are aiming for a historic three-peat in the LMGT3 category at the famed La Sarthe circuit. The team will be sporting silver livery to mark “75 Years of Porsche Motorsport”.

The Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, together with the Manthey customer team, is aiming for its third consecutive class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 94th edition of the endurance classic takes place on 13/14 June at the Circuit des 24 Heures in northwestern France.

It’s been over a quarter century since the truly revolutionary 996 Turbo was born. This machine literally rewrote the rules of engagement in the sports car community and redefined performance possibilities and capabilities in the production car world. And although this first water cooled Turbo Porsche has been around for a minute, it still delivers staggering performance, especially with some proven engine mods like the IPD Plenum.

Our Plenums are products of efficiency and simply manage air flow in a more superior manner, reducing turbulence, increasing air velocity and improving overall laminar flow into the combustion chambers. Our 68mm Plenum and larger 74mm Plenum develop similar HP and TQ gains, but the 68mm version delivers peak gains lower in the powerband while the 74mm realizes peak gains in the upper RPM band. So, it just depends on your power delivery preferences, extent of your engine mods and your specific performance goals.

We typically recommend our standard 68mm Plenum (that utilizes the OE 68mm TB) for customers without upgraded exhaust systems or re-flashed ECU’s but are looking for some proven and impressive net gains throughout both power curves. Our Competition version requires upgrading to the larger 74mm TB and is better suited for Turbo customers with high-flow exhaust systems, ECU tuning and beyond. Gains are in the range of 30+ WHP and 35+ WTQ for both Plenums.

Here’s another impressive 991.2 Turbo S featuring some proven engine upgrades, including an IPD Plenum and Turbo Y-Pipe. These simple yet effective mods will literally transform the already visceral Turbo driving experience to the next level. This Turbo laid down some remarkable acceleration numbers with plenty of room for even more performance improvement, especially given the fact that these runs were on 92 octane fuel.

The IPD “Y” designed Plenum replaces the more turbulent factory “T” intake while our Y-Pipe allows great air flow with improved laminar flow into the throttle body, delivering higher velocity intake air flow for substantial net HP and TQ gains across both power curves, with both stock and modified Turbos.

Congrats to Justin and Sam on a great Turbo S with a very sexy stance.

Dusted off the dragy and did a quick pull! For a pump gas tune, 92 octane, on 3/4 tank of gas, full weight on 3 piece BBS wheels (36/38 psi) I’m super impressed! There haven’t been any revisions yet either. 🙏🏽 Sam , can’t wait to turn it up!
