Star Import Service Since 1984, we have been Gainesville's only exclusively Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter repair shop.

Our pursuit of excellence with Mercedes-Benz began in 1982 when I left my job at the dealership and began working on cars out of my garage using our guest bed room as a parts department. In January of 1984 we opened our doors for business in a 3-bay warehouse where we quickly graduated to a 4-bay warehouse. We still have some of our customers that we started out with over thirty years ago. One of my old customers from the dealership days, who turned out to be one of my very best friends, Larry Cheshire, took me by the hand.....and on a handshake built our current facility, which we have been in for over 30 years. I personally have over 45 years of experience with Mercedes-Benz and I guarantee satisfaction on whatever work needs to be performed on your car. If you have any distaste with work that has been completed, please give us a call or email us and we will make it right for you. Ultimately above being a Mercedes-Benz specialist, we are a service and we will take care of our guests like we would take care of family. Please feel free to stop by anytime, give us a call/email to schedule an appointment or ask for an estimate, we will be more than happy to assist you.

Ever noticed the signature on a Mercedes windshield? 👀

It’s more than a little detail. Genuine Mercedes windshields have featured heritage markings over the years —From the classic Mercedes script to the signatures of Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz. It’s one of those subtle touches you might own for years without ever noticing. ⭐
