It is with great sadness that we share this news. A very loved and cherished member of our Dave Mays Automotive, Inc family was taken suddenly yesterday. To know Jon was to love Jon. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He had a passion for fixing all types of automobiles and had a success rate like no other. "If Jon couldn't fix it you might as well scrap it." That was the saying. Please say a prayer for his family during this time of grief.

I have attached the link to the Go Fund Me that has been organized for his funeral expenses. Continue to pray for his family and friends. The phrase "The Good Die Young" is an understatement when is comes to this young man. He will be missed dearly.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic
Dave Mays Automotive, Inc. is looking for you to join our TEAM !

Hours Mon-Fri. 7:30-5:30pm

DRUG/TOBACCO FREE WORKPLACE

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
Keep logs on work and issues
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Skills

Proven experience as auto mechanic
Tire service and alignments
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
