A little backup baseline of the 2ar. No changes other than oil, fuel, and a slight bump of rpm.

Stock block, older fmw race cams, fmw header, 2.5in exhaust, intake manifold, 3.5in intake, e66.

I'll be swapping the new header on this weekend. Then build three ti exhaust and retune.

We will be doing a baseline dyno on the 2arfe racecar with the current header and 2.5in exhaust.

Then, we will install the new race header and 3.5in titanium exhaust. Follow up dyno and tuning to see if it'll make any more power.

Then we will test out the 4-1 header with the stock block before going to the built engine and doing it all over again.

New exhaust to go with the new headers for my racecar. Now both my 2ar cars will have 3.5in titanium exhausts.

Customer just dropped off this super clean 93 turbo with 43k miles. All original but never had any maintenance. We will get it all up to date and running great. He has a guy that will do some paint correction to get the outside looking good.

I still love doing work on these even if it's bone stock and just factory maintenance and restoration.

The first test header is complete. Kept it as close to the block as possible. Maybe it'll fit the mk3.

Keep in mind this is more of a race header and not just a street car version.

We used a nice thick heat sink when welding certain parts to keep it also straight and flat.

Track day tomorrow and then we may get started on testing. I do have all the 3.5in titanium coming on Monday for the rest of the exhaust. Current setup is 2.5in stainless. Hoping to drop a few lbs while flowing a lot more.

The beginning of the test headers. These are much bigger and longer than the current offerings and should make a lot more power with supporting engine mods. We are also doing a 4-1 as well as the 4-2-1. Help cover peak power and mid range so you can tune your powerband for your racing style. I will test out this one on my mostly stock 2ar and then the full built 2ar and see how they compare. I will do some back to back dyno testing.
