EXCITING NEWS – NEW SUMMER OPENING HOURS!

We’re excited to announce some changes to our opening hours for the upcoming summer season!

From 1 October 2026, we’ll be extending our shop opening hours across the week, giving you more opportunities to visit us when it suits you.

Monday – Friday
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Workshop & Shop Open

Saturday
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Shop Only Open

The best part? Our shop will be open for more hours across the week than it has been previously, making it easier to call in for parts, accessories, advice or anything else you need for your caravan.

🚨 A reminder why annual caravan servicing is so important.

This tyre looked perfectly fine from the outside and still had plenty of tread left... but the inside told a completely different story. The steel belts and cords were exposed, meaning this tyre could have failed at any time. 😳

It's a good reminder that not every problem is visible from a quick walk-around. During a service, we inspect the areas you can't easily see, helping to catch potentially dangerous issues before they become a breakdown or worse.

Regular servicing isn't just about maintenance, it's about keeping you and your family safe on the road.

Why winter is a great time to service your caravan:

Before the busy spring and summer travel season begins, winter is one of the best times to have your caravan professionally serviced. Most caravan manufacturers recommend an annual service to help keep your caravan safe, reliable and performing as it should.

Having your caravan serviced over winter also gives us the opportunity to identify small issues early before they turn into more expensive repairs later on.

During a full caravan service we inspect and maintain key running gear and safety systems including:

• Brakes & wheel bearings
• Suspension & chassis components
• Appliances & flues
• Floors, rails, seals & window rubbers
• Moisture testing & water ingress checks

We also take photos throughout the service process and take the time to clearly explain everything when you collect your caravan. This allows you to see exactly what has been checked, understand the condition of your caravan and discuss any recommendations with our team.

Does your caravan have an ALDE heating system?

If so, the antifreeze (glycol) should be replaced every 5 years, or every 2 years if your system is running Alde blue antifreeze.

At Moutere Caravans, we can carry out a complete ALDE heat transfer fluid replacement in our workshop using specialised ALDE equipment to ensure the system is serviced properly and efficiently.

Our full ALDE fluid change service is $875 incl. GST.

This includes:
• Supply of new 5-year G13 glycol
• Safe disposal of old fluid
• Professional installation labour

After a very busy summer, we’ll be taking a short break over Easter to recharge.

Our business will be closed from Sunday 28 March until Monday 6 April.
Our last day open before the break will be Saturday 27 March, and we will reopen on Tuesday 7 April.

We’d like to sincerely thank all of our customers for your continued support throughout the season. We truly appreciate it.
