Solving a Growing Challenge

As project sizes increased, so did the challenges of handling larger aluminium components through our existing pre-treatment process.
Large and heavy items often required multiple team members to carefully manoeuvre each piece through various stages of preparation.

While the process delivered the quality standards our customers expect, it was labour-intensive and created limitations on our capacity and efficiency.
Projects such as this large aluminium cabinets highlight both the scale of components we regularly process and the importance of continuing to invest in smarter systems.

Our new automated line has been specifically designed to improve material handling, reduce manual intervention, and create a safer and more efficient workflow for our team.

It's an investment that benefits both our people and our customers.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this meaningful addition to the Wellington Writers Walk to life. This beautiful new sculpture honours te reo Māori, Matariki, and the stories that connect people with place.

We're proud that the team at Powder Coating Services had the opportunity to contribute by applying the powder coating finish to this special installation. Coated in Dulux Weathered Flat from the Duratec Elements range -a premium exterior powder with a finish not only complements the sculpture's design but also provides long-term protection in New Zealand's coastal environment.

Colour. Durability. Architectural Impact.

We're proud to have contributed to this standout project for Colspec's new offices in Palmerston North by providing the powder coating finish for the custom aluminium sun shading panels.

Finished with a bold architectural colour palette and backed by warranty-grade powder coating, these panels were designed to deliver long-lasting protection while creating a striking visual statement.

Congratulations to Steel E.D. & Patton and Patton Engineering Ltd. on delivering such an impressive façade. It's always rewarding to see quality fabrication, innovative design, and premium powder coating come together to create an exceptional finished result.
