1970 Challenger sealed up in RestoFinish Poly Primer and ready for the next stage.

A lot of work went into getting this body straight, and it’s good to see it all in primer and moving forward.

New wheels just landed 🔥
Big thanks to for supplying these Simmons rims for the build — quality gear and the fit is bang on.

Got the tyres fitted and started loosely mocking them up in the rear guards… safe to say it’s heading in the right direction 👌 Stance is already looking tough, and we’re only just getting started.

Getting down to the details on this Hellcat Challenger build 🔥
Final fit-up underway with the drivetrain locked in and the exhaust all dialled.

Up top, we’ve also been finishing off the custom flush-fit bumpers to tie the whole car together 👌

Plenty going on behind the scenes on this one — and it’s all starting to come together.
More to come as we push it closer to the finish line.

Mocking up the tray deck for the ’46 Ford Ute we’re building.
We’ve used recycled Australian Jarrah timber for the deck — a beautiful hardwood that really suits the look of this build.
Next step is laying down a good coat of polyurethane to protect the timber before final fitment.
Coming together nicely.

Another big step forward on the build 👊
We’ve now finished off the new main chassis rails, making room for the tyre width we want and lifting everything enough so we can get the body sitting on the ground when it’s aired out.
Now that the main chassis is mocked up, what’s left of the body is heading off to be blasted so we can start dialing everything in properly.
Next up… rear suspension, drivetrain mounts, crossmembers and bracing — this is where it really starts to come together.

As always, we’re documenting the whole build as we push toward NZ 2027 — make sure you’re following along to see it all unfold.

Simple, tidy, and built to last.
We’ve just finished re-covering this bench seat for a classic British pickup, keeping the design clean and true to the era. A fresh trim like this makes a huge difference to the feel of an old truck.
