Due to the weather event around the country, some of our scheduled deliveries have been delayed by 1-2days. We always do our best to not run out of key stock items but these things cant be avoided 🙂 we have plenty of fuel in the tanks and lpg bottles for the swap 🙂

The weather 🫪
As it happens this time every year. The weather is less than great. Due to this we may close earlier tonight. We hope those that do not need to travel, stay put. Please drive to the conditions. Touch base with family and friends in the outer regions.

2 weeks on pay before pump and here is an update!
We would like to thank each and every person who has worked with us, been understanding, and treated us with kindness during this transition. It has not gone unnoticed and we appreciate you all.

We have stopped potentially 11 drive off theft attempts in 14 days. And 9 seperate instances of potential "unable to pays we promise to be back" and never return.

Lastnight boss man was able to order and pay for 2 items for in the store that required upgrading or replacing.

We Will continue doing our best to not inconvenience our loyal and wonderful customers.

We held off as long as we could as we dont want to inconvenience our loyal and wonderful customers BUT if the last 7 days are any indication of whats to come our doors will be closed in no time. Help us keep the fuel flowing and the pies hot and the banter on point!

No more petrol thefts from hard working people in a small new zealand owned and operated business!

Due to a rapid increase in petrol thefts and dishonest "unable to pays i promise I will return" and never do we will be moving to a pre pay system. This will be mandatory aside from our regular fleet customers and regular customers. There will be no negotiations. In the last 7 days we have had HUNDREDS taken dishonestly with failure to pays. We have been left with no choice moving forwards.
This was not by our doing. This was by their doing. Aggression towards staff will not be tolerated.

After a surgical leave of absence I will be returning to site tomorrow. Pre pay will begin friday.

If you know a friend or family member who has ripped off a small privately owned business that is struggling under the economical pressure of 2026, hold them accountable.

We are franchised. You are hurting a small privately owned business NOT caltex.

Help us to keep the doors open.

Mandatory pre pay before pump will come into effect on friday.

UPDATE 730PM
Site is back up and running! We still are not quite 100% sure what caused it 😌 we apologise for the inconvenience, it was unpleasant for us aswell 🤗

We are so sorry our site has gone offline we currently have no fuel pumps. We are trying to get the site back up and running.

1030am Update.
We have decided to close the site for today. We cannot process anything without power We cannot even open the tills. The power still may surge on and off throughout the day and to avoid risk to our old site it will remain shut and closed. To reopen with Kayla & Rei at 6am tomorrow morning. An inconvenience for all but the best choice for the site.

We have experienced a total power cut. We believe currently effecting all of Marlborough from Kaikoura to Rai Valley. There are no pumps available or till we are dead in the water. Will update as we get updates.
