As a lot of you may know, Malc has been working on restoring a 1971 Hydroplane race boat.

Took it to its first event this weekend at the New Zealand Antique and Classic Boatshow at Lake Rotoiti. What an amazing event set in a stunning place.

We are stoked to come away with two awards, ‘People’s Choice’ and also ‘Best motor powered craft’ such a privilege given the high calibre of workmanship that was there.

At Russell’s Paint & Panel, we’re always looking for ways to minimise our impact on the environment.

Instead of going to landfill, plastic parts from the cars we repair (bumpers, guard liners etc) are set aside, cut into smaller pieces, and delivered to Future Post, where they’re recycled into strong, sustainably long-lasting fence posts.

It’s fantastic to see local innovation here in Blenheim turning everyday workshop rubbish into something useful that lasts, making a difference, one piece at a time.
