What an incredible few days we've had at the HomePlus Annual Conference in Dunedin.
We are absolutely thrilled to have been named Runner-Up HomePlus Franchise of the Year 2026. 🏅
For a small regional team from Blenheim, this recognition means the world to us. To be acknowledged alongside some of the best HomePlus franchises in the country is something we're incredibly proud of.
A huge congratulations to John and his team at HomePlus Otago, who took out the top award. It was thoroughly deserved, and they are fantastic ambassadors for the HomePlus brand.
This recognition reflects the hard work, commitment and passion of our entire team. We're proud of the business we've built, the service we provide to our customers, and the contribution we make to the wider HomePlus network.
The conference itself was outstanding. We were fortunate to hear from inspiring guest speaker James Laughlin, whose presentation challenged us to think differently, embrace change, and continue striving for excellence. We also got an exciting look at upcoming products and improvements to our existing range, giving us plenty to look forward to and bring back to our customers here in Marlborough.
One of the highlights of the conference was catching up with the other 24 HomePlus franchises from around New Zealand. Sharing ideas, celebrating each other's successes, and learning from one another is one of the greatest strengths of being part of the HomePlus family.
The conference concluded with an unforgettable awards dinner at the stunning Larnach Castle. Somewhere along the way, I found myself "volunteered" to take part in the traditional haggis ceremony! It was a fantastic experience and a chance to embrace my Scottish heritage by proudly wearing my Buchanan family tartan.
While awards are wonderful recognition, the real reward is the trust our customers place in us every day.
To our customers across Marlborough—thank you. Every louvre roof, shower, balustrade, insect screen, security door, and home improvement project you've trusted us with has helped us achieve this recognition. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to deliver the quality, service, and craftsmanship you've come to expect from HomePlus Blenheim.
