Mark's '55 F100 originally came in for compliance and LVV certification. After adding seatbelts and power disc brakes, Mark was close to compliance sign-off when the engine spun an oil seal.
After some investigation, some old engine repairs were found to be thumbs down and Mark, not to be deterred, embarked on the journey of making the truck drive better than factory.
We flip forward a couple of months and now have a Heidts independent front end with disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering, EFI 351W, AOD overdrive auto, Ididit column, Dakota digital dash and more to come.
We have no doubt this old girl will be fit for a much more comfortable ride by the time it hits the road this summer.
