Hi just a few things i have been doing the last couple of week at the shop, i had to make a housing to fit a thermostat to this ford 1600 cross flow race engine which had a hand made over head cam box fitted to it around 40 years ago. But to make it better for road use it needed a thermostat . Also fitted and wired up a 2 speed wiper motor into a mk1 es**rt. I also had to fix a beach tractor that needed a new manifold and exhaust as it had broken off due to it beening paper thin from rust.

Just a update on what i have been working on lately. One was a xj6 jag which i had to get running correctly, fix the auto problems and balance the carbs, tune etc, replace all the ball joints and adjust inner rack ends as one pulled off rack as customer was turn in his drive. He had just purchased the car from the south island and it had a new WOF?.
The last last week was a 1953 Riley which i had to repair all the brakes and remove play from all the brake and clutch linkages, was not the cleanest classic car i have worked on.

Well finally got the mk1 es**rt certified. Last job was this chev pickup, had to raise suspension as it was sitting on the bump stops, very hard riding. Repair all brakes so it would pass a roller brake test, repair faulty light circuit and make some new headlight adjuster. Fit new valve stem seals. Had to fit a new crank shaft pulley as it fell off, it was so worn out it could of coarse a bad accedent if it came off on the road and went through somebody's windscreen. Fit new differential pinion seal to stop oil leak and then it flue through its Wof.
