Engineer / Mate wanted – 34m Performance S/Y
Caribbean to New Zealand | Start before 20 May 2026

We are seeking a capable Engineer / Mate to join a 34m Frers-designed full carbon performance sloop for a delivery from Grenada via Panama and French Polynesia to New Zealand.

The yacht will then undergo a major refit in NZ before continuing Pacific cruising through 2027/2028.

Requirements:

Strong engineering background,
ideally Advanced AEC 1 & 2 or higher
Experience with Cummins main engine, Kohler generators, plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, air con, and refrigeration
Watchkeeping ability
Sailing knowledge and deck experience
Day Skipper / Coastal Yacht Master level preferred

Details:

Start before 20 May 2026
Arrival NZ expected first week of August 2026
Up to USD $7,000/month
Travel paid
All found on board
Strong potential for ongoing/full-time role for the right candidate

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Stewardess and Mate to join a 36m Sailing Yacht operating in the Pacific, with an ASAP start.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience on sailing yachts and be confident running the interior/exterior independently. Support will be provided by a deck/stew, but this is a lead role requiring initiative and solid standards.
