After months of wet roads, cold starts and winter driving, now’s a pretty good time to give your EV or hybrid a little attention too.

10,000 public EV chargers around the country by 2030.
And this month, another round of funding support opened to help get more chargers into the ground.
More chargers. More places to stop. More confidence to go electric.

What’s the battery health like?
Is the range right for me?
Where will I charge?
What should I actually be looking for?

Our job isn’t simply to hand you the keys. It’s to make sure you understand what you’re buying, why it suits your lifestyle, and feel completely confident driving away in it.
Because “I love my new car” is great feedback.

Battery percentage and battery health, same thing? Not quite. 🔋⚡

Think of it like your phone:
Your battery percentage tells you how much charge you have right now.
Your battery health tells you how much capacity the battery can hold compared with when it was new.
That distinction is especially important when you’re buying a used EV, because two cars showing 100% charged can have very different battery health.
It’s one of the reasons knowing what you’re looking at matters when buying pre-owned electric.

Buying your first EV? ⚡ There are a few things we wish everyone knew before making the switch...

It’s not always about choosing the car with the biggest battery or the longest range.
It’s about finding the EV that fits your life - how far you actually drive, where you’ll charge, what you need from your car, and understanding the health of the battery you’re buying.

Ask questions. Lots of them. A good EV specialist should be able to explain everything in plain English and make sure you feel confident in what you’re buying.
