Looking for someone to cover a busy family garage - must have driving licence (but own transport not required)

Fully trained mechanic role available with great rates of pay!

Also additional role to support head mechanic delivering cars, moving cars, learning basic mechanic skills with an interest in mechanics.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Salary: £23,500 - £35,000 DOE, Negotiable depending on Experience.

About the company: A family run business with a very friendly team. We have a large customer base all over Aylsham and surrounding areas with great plans to expand. We are now looking to recruit a Fully Qualified Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy team at our Aylsham workshop.

About the Role: Vehicle repairs, servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics on a range of cars and light commercial vehicles.

Candidate Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in light vehicles maintenance, equivalent and time served experience. Your own set of tools. Confidence to carry out all aspects of vehicle
maintenance and repair. A full UK Driving Licence. A good approach to customer service. Qualified Class 4 & 7 MOT tester (not compulsory but advantageous). Working day - 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday... with the possibility of some Saturdays.

It's HOT, HOT, HOT!
Pop in for While you wait Aircon Regas and servicing.
From £50, we do regular R134a and R1234yf gasses.
Diagnostics & Leak repairs also available.

Suggested service is around every 2 years, however most don't realise until it becomes a problem when really needed. We are here if you get stuck or know it has been over the 2 years.

Struggling Aircon affects other things in the car including making the engine work harder thus increasing fuel consumption.

Just a note - there is no extension to MOT's during this lockdown. So you will need to get a MOT before it is due. Worth checking your vehicle does still have a valid MOT, it's easy to forget in normal times let alone in these Covid times.
If you are unsure just give us a ring on 01263 732172 and we will check for you.
