⚠️ IMPORTANT CUSTOMER UPDATE – TEMPORARY DISRUPTION ⚠️

Unfortunately, I've suffered a serious hand injury whilst working on a vehicle today.

I've sustained a deep cut to my hand, with suspected tendon damage, and I'm due to undergo surgery on Wednesday to assess and potentially repair the injury.

As a result, I'm currently unable to carry out my usual work and will unfortunately need to postpone upcoming appointments.

At this stage, I don't know how long I'll be out of action. I'll have a better idea following Wednesday's procedure and will provide further updates as soon as possible.

I'll be contacting affected customers directly regarding their bookings.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

Shortly after this Classic 1989/1990 bus' appearance in Channel 4's "Patience" (right at the beginning of season 1, episode 6) a main battery cable chafed on a clip that was actually meant to hold it in position. Years of vibration and the rubber around the clip perishing meant that it slowly headed toward a firey end. Thankfully someone was on hand to isolate the batteries and put the fire out, so the fire remained local to the point at which it ignited, and therefore was repairable, and repair it we did
