An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician for a busy independent garage.
The ideal candidate must be honest, reliable and hardworking, who can work under the own initiative to prioritize their workload to ensure that deadlines are met.
You must possess at least 1 - 3 years recent experience with a NVQ/City & Guilds at Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
Have a full clean driving license and your own tools.
THE ROLE
*Repairing, Maintaining & Servicing vehicles that are booked in the workshop
*Stripping, fitting & replacing elements on vehicles
*Ordering Parts needed for repairs
*Advise the Workshop Manager of any further faults, so work can be authorized
*Using a diagnostic equipment to find faults
*Ensuring all deadlines are met to ensure customer satisfaction
THE PERSON
*1 - 3 years experience in motor vehicle repairs - preferably in an independent garage
*Welding Experience & Tyre fitting would be a bonus
*Be able to deal with customers & queries
*Be a Team Player
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm (with an hour's lunch)
Opportunity for overtime Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm
