Whether your four wheeled friend is in need of a simple oil change, an extensive engine rebuild, new brake pads/discs or a new clutch, we are able to assist. Our team has a wealth of experience working on a wide range

of vehicles, including performance cars, and our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment ensures that we can offer you no-nonsense advice quickly and efficiently. We only use original manufacturer quality parts and will always advise you on cost and timescales before you agree to work being carried out; so whether your car is in need of its next service or something more involved, please do get in touch with us to find out how we can save you time and money. We’ve noticed a few questions recently regarding SOS Automotive and The Car Edition, so we’d like to provide a brief update.

🚗 SOS Automotive is now part of The Car Edition. This transition allows us to continue building on the reputation and customer relationships developed over many years while benefiting from additional resources, facilities, and opportunities for growth.

The SOS Automotive name continues to be used with the agreement of the former owner, which is why you may still see both SOS Automotive and The Car Edition on signage and online.

Most importantly, our commitment to honest advice, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service remains exactly the same.

🔧 As always, every quotation is discussed and approved before any work is carried out. No additional work is undertaken without the customer’s knowledge and consent. Transparency has always been, and will continue to be, one of our core values.

If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly. We’d much rather answer your questions than have anyone rely on rumours or assumptions.

This Peugeot Boxer came in with a strong smell of fuel and a leak traced back to worn fuel pump gaskets and seals 👨‍🔧⛽️

We replaced all faulty seals and gaskets to get everything sealed up properly again and prevent any further leaks or fuel pressure issues.

This Audi Q7 came in with several issues, but one problem is definitely worth mentioning - and it’s something that can affect pretty much any 3.0TDI engine 👀

A heavily clogged intake system can cause:
• fluctuating or rough idle RPM
• noticeable lack of power
• engine management light
• even limp mode in more severe cases

Over time, carbon build-up restricts airflow and stops the engine from breathing properly, leading to poor performance and drivability issues.

After inspection, we found the water pump was stuck and not operating properly.

To resolve the issue, we proceeded with replacing the cambelt kit together with a new water pump ✅
