Not posted for a while but have had pleasure doing a few jobs for this customer. One of them a headlight restoration and what a difference.
Misting was affecting the beam.
Before and after.

Customer complaint of having loss of power and smoking from exhaust.EML was on.
Scanned vehicle and fitted new EGR valve.
After more tests located that turbo had broken its shaft and leaking oil.
Fitted new turbo and cleared codes.
Tested ok.

Recent vehicle had broken spring. Worn link rod and worn ball joint.
Repairs carried out and retested with a pass.

Water pump stripped ready for fitment of new one.

Vehicle recovered to M.H Auto Repairs for non-start.
Found fault with alternator not charging battery.
Replaced with new belt.
Tested all ok

Carried out check for drivers electric window not working. Found regulator cable snapped. Replaced and tested. customer can now open window

Always a good feeling when getting someone back on the road.
Attended a customer unable to start her car intermittently. Carry out checks and found battery cable loose. Tighten and charge battery. Custome now back on the road.
