Nail in your tyre? Don't assume you need a new one.

A puncture doesn't automatically mean your tyre needs replacing.

Depending on where the damage is, its size and the overall condition of the tyre, a safe professional repair may be possible.

However, damage too close to the sidewall, a puncture outside the permitted repair area or a tyre that's been driven on while flat could mean replacement is the only safe option.
