We will be back on Wednesday the 8th. All texts, calls, emails and any other ways to contact for queries and booking will be responded to From Wednesday.
Also a reminder that we are incredibly grateful to all our customer but our opening hours are Monday- Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. Please can we stick to these as much as possible. I (Mrs Lee, Diane, wife in the office 🤣) have noticed an increase in the amount of calls Lee is getting out of these hours (before he’s even up and Sunday mornings are my favourite 😳🫣).
Sorry if it seems a little moany but I hope you will all understand. Have a lovely long weekend 😊

Big day yesterday for me, I have finally completed all available wet belts,🎉
I completed the list after doing this Ford ranger belt.
So if you know anyone needing a wet belt replacement we have all the tools, the knowledge and experience.🔨🔧⚙️
Transit Custom ✅
Ford 1.0 eco boost engine (all models) ✅
Citroen/peugeot/vauxhalls with the puretec 1.0 & 1.2 engines
And finally VAG engines 1.6 and 2.0 oil pump drive belts in the sump..
Not saying specialist but I could definitely ✅ that box🤣

Lee often comes across issues that may have been prevented if customers were aware and knew how to check their vehicle information and history. So I have decided we are going to do a post each week with some advice on maintaining your vehicle.
This week is ⭐️ Maintenance Monday ⭐️
Servicing your vehicle is important to maintain your vehicle - it is not an add on for garages to make more money, which we have heard.

When should you have one done? We recommend annually.

How will I know when it needs doing? You can check your service history book. Some newer cars may tell you when you need an 'oil change/service'. If you're still not sure give us a call and we can help.

What type of services are there? We offer a choice of 3. Engine Service, intermediate service and a full service. Our regular customers know that Lee will never tell you which one you must have, he will only advise based on mileage covered and his knowledge.
We understand that everyone's budgets are different and a small engine service is better than no service!

Unfortunately, we have had to make the decision to request that invoices are paid in full before keys are returned to our customers and the vehicles can leave our premises. As a small family run business we try and help people as much as possible, most people are booked in up to two weeks in advance (if not longer) and are often given a full quote or an estimate of cost before the work is carried out. Sadly, we currently have over £2000 in invoices outstanding and that is not something we can continue doing. Thank you to the many customers who always pay promptly. We hope you can understand our need to make these changes.

Do I need to book in advance to get this done?
Great news! No you don't. All we ask is that you call at least 20 minutes before to let us know you are planning on popping up so we can make sure the machines are free. This is to minimise your waiting time.
Do you do a nitrogen test?
Yes! Government requirements are that a nitrogen test must be carried out before all re-gassing to check for leaks.
How long does it take?
The whole process takes around 45 minutes.
Can I wait while it is being done?
Yes! We have a comfy sofa in the office for you to relax, you will be offered a choice of drinks while you wait and we have customer wifi available too.
If you would rather not sit, we are surrounded by lovely fields you can take a wonder around and we will call you when your car is done.
What happens if you find a leak?
We will look for any obvious signs of where the leak is coming from but it may be that your car will need to be booked in for further investigation.
Do you offer anti bacterial treatment for air conditioning?
Yes! for £20 +VAT we can sanitise your air-conditioning. Call us to find out more information on this.

‼️CUSTOMER NOTICE‼️ There are currently temporary traffic lights along the Wickham Road, near what will be the new turning for Boundary Oak School. Please bear that in mind when planning your journey to/from us. To give an idea of time, it took 10-15 minute to exit the unit, go up to Knowle roundabout and back up to the leisure centre at midday today.

Happy New Year! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New year. We are back to work and the phones are going crazy! Diane is working her way through all the messages and calls we received over the holiday period. Whilst Lee is cracking on with all the jobs booked in for the day. 🙂
