🏁 WE’RE BACK – RACING TOMORROW NIGHT! 🏁

Good news! After the timing issues we’ve had over the last couple of weeks, everything should now be fixed and ready to go for tomorrow night! 🙌

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get to the bottom of the problem, so we’re looking forward to getting everyone back on track.

🏎️ Wednesday Club Night
🚪 Doors open – 6:00pm
⚡ Practice from – 6:00pm
🏁 Racing starts – around 7:15pm
⏱️ 4 rounds of qualifying followed by a final

Thanks again to everyone for your patience and support while we’ve been sorting the timing system.

⚠️ TONIGHT’S RACING CANCELLED ⚠️

Unfortunately, after carrying out further testing on the timing system, we’re still experiencing the same issues and haven’t been able to get it working reliably.

Because of this, tonight’s racing will NOT be going ahead.

We’re continuing to work on the problem and will get it sorted as quickly as we can.

Apologies to everyone who was planning on coming down tonight, and thank you for your patience and support while we get to the bottom of it.

We’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we know more.

🏁 MIDLANDS RACEWAY – WEDNESDAY RACE REPORT 🏁

17 drivers joined us Wednesday for another cracking night of 2WD racing, with a slightly different qualifying format this week — only your best 1 from 4 rounds counted!

That meant once drivers had a decent score in the bag, there was nothing to lose. Plenty were pushing hard through every qualifier looking for that one perfect run. 🔥

Jamie Beasley nailed it with 19/5:01.646 to take TQ, ahead of Lewis Hopkins, with Lee Fidoe and Richard Morse heading the 18-lap runners.

🥉 Lee Fidoe

Jamie converted TQ into another A Final victory, leading from start to finish. Behind him, Paul came through from 6th on the grid to 2nd, while Lee recovered from an early drop down the order to take 3rd.

🥉 Russell Branigan

A close one! Ed took the win with Luke finishing just 1.393 seconds behind, while Russell came through from 4th to complete the podium.

⚡ C FINAL

🥉 Josh Williams

Stu came through from 3rd on the grid to take the C Final win, ahead of Paul and pole-sitter Josh.

Another great Wednesday night and the best 1 from 4 format certainly encouraged everyone to send it! 😂

🏁 MIDLANDS RACEWAY – WEDNESDAY RACE REPORT 🏁

Another cracking turnout last Wednesday with 20 drivers taking on the latest layout — and great to see a couple of new faces joining us after coming along for a few practice sessions. 👌

We mixed things up a little this week with just ONE qualifying round to count from four. That changed the feel of qualifying completely — some drivers banked a good run early, while others were pushing hard right through to the final round trying to nail that one quick five minutes! 🔥

At the sharp end Jamie Beasley set the benchmark with a 20/5:06.214, while Kirk Beasley saved his best until Round 4, becoming the only other driver to hit 20 laps. Richard Morse secured third on the grid with a 19-lapper.

The maestro Jamie converted pole into another win, Kirk followed him home for P2, with Richard completing the podium.

Jonathan controlled the B from pole, while Logan charged from 5th to 2nd, with Russell completing the top three.

Joel took the C win from pole, Paul moved up to P2 and The Joker rounded out the podium.

Brilliant to see the numbers staying strong and especially good to see people who've been coming along to practice now making the jump into racing with us on a Wednesday night. 💙
