It’s derby day and the vibes in this house are HUGE 🐺⚽️
Jay’s off to the Wolves and I am absolutely gutted I’m not there because this isn’t just any game…
it’s a massive derby game 😮‍💨🙌
So today Holltech is running purely on football nerves, family chaos and full-on UP THE WOLVES energy.
I’ll be watching the game, shouting at the telly and fully invested from the first whistle 😂
And a big good luck to Ruby too as she’s got her own game today and we won’t be there to cheer her on from the sidelines — but we’ll be backing you all the way, Rubes ❤️⚽️

Saturday tea time check-in from Holltech.

The week has been busy, the diary has been moving, and Jay has been out doing his thing keeping cars and vans on the road.

Friday check-in from Holltech 🚗🤣

We weren’t going to post today because we’ve got a proper car one going out tomorrow…

But sometimes you need a post that isn’t about servicing, MOT prep, brakes, batteries or Jay being under a bonnet somewhere.

So this is that post.

The week has been very much week-ing, messages have been busy, the diary has been moving, Jay has been out doing his thing, and now we are officially ready to clock off, eat pizza and watch Mobland season 2 like responsible adults.

By responsible adults, I obviously mean sitting down, scoffing food, ignoring the washing, and pretending nobody needs us for a few hours 🤣

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend — whatever you’re doing, we hope it involves food, rest, no breakdowns and absolutely no unexpected warning lights.

Did you know Jay can work on electric and hybrid vehicles? ⚡🚗

Because apparently cars weren’t complicated enough already… now some of them come with big orange cables and enough voltage to make you question your life choices 🤣

But don’t worry — Jay has actually done the proper IMI training for this.

He’s qualified in electric/hybrid vehicle routine maintenance activities and electric/hybrid vehicle system repair and replacement, so Holltech can safely support suitable work on electric and hybrid vehicles.

Cars are changing, and we’re making sure Holltech keeps up with them.

So whether your vehicle is petrol, diesel, hybrid or electric, it’s always worth making sure the person working on it has the right training and knowledge to do it safely.

We’ve popped Jay’s certificates on this post because trust matters — and also because I like reminding people he does occasionally sit still long enough to learn things 🤣

September is here, the kids are back at school, routines are slowly coming back… and now it might be time to get the car sorted 🚗🍂

Well… we haven’t posted for a week, which usually means one thing 🤣

It’s been hectic beyond belief behind the scenes.

Breakdowns, messages, diary shuffling, parts, jobs moving around, Jay out doing his thing, and the whole week feeling a bit like Holltech whack-a-mole.

Fix one thing, three more pop up 😅

But September is here, the back-to-school routine is creeping back in, and honestly… I’m here for it.

This is the time of year where everything starts feeling a bit more structured again, and it’s also a really good time to start thinking about getting your car or van sorted before the colder months start sneaking in.
