After buying a Focus ST225 we often get people bringing them in for a health check to make sure they're in a good place. But unfortunately for this chap we found a few issues.
The crankcase breather pipe had been damaged before with someone installing a temporary hose in its place, the hose used wasn't suitable and had collapsed restricting the flow.
Fortunately the metal breather pipe is something we had spare on the shelf, allowing us to do the proper replacement, leaving the car as it's meant to be.
The car was also misfiring intermittently, whilst looking into this and checking a few things first we found an air leak caused by a split hose and that the fuel injectors were damaged and not working consistently. Replacement injectors solved the misfire, getting things back to how they should be!
