Here we have our newest Bellhousing, which allows our SG/RD range to bolt to a Honda K20/24 engine.

Whilst we’ve been supplying Honda K powered cars for years, these have been front drive or mid-engined rear drive applications.

Now we have your front-engine, rear-drive K swap covered!

With several power/torque levels, H patterns and Sequentials, we can offer a solution for both NA and Forced Induction, for whatever racing type you compete in.

Another stunning Mk2 emerges ! We’ve now been involved in a few of Flash Motorsport’s projects. The attention to detail is 2nd to none. Some might say it’s too nice to hit the gravel but we think that’s where the build quality and finish really show it’s worth. No doubt this car will excel. Can’t wait to see it!

Another blast from the past recently, was to service this HMP gearbox, a special we made for Mitsubishi Pajero’s for the Dakar Rally in the 90’s. This was based on the Nissan GTR and V8 Supercar gearboxes of the time, so we had the required parts in stock and it was a relatively quick turn around. This car along with 2 others is off to tackle the Classic component of Dakar next year. It’s great to see it still out competing decades on from when it was made. Peter Holinger would be proud!

Just shipped this new XL6 to fit to a Turbo-charged V8 Coyote Mustang Time Attack car in the USA.

This particular car will be producing extremely high levels of boost, power, torque and everything that goes with it. But with the XL6 being developed for off-road Trophy Trucks, we’re not expecting any issues.

If the question is “how much can this take?”, the answer back will be “how much you got?”.

MF-E9-0711-001

This was the very first MF-E we made.

July 2011. #1.

After 15 years it’s back for its 2nd service. Last time we saw it was 2019.

It’s been used in a gravel rally car with a 36mm restrictor, so whilst not the most powerful setup, lots of Torque and being a rally car, lots of shock loading.

Those who know this car, also know it does A LOT of kms. Both testing and any event it can get too.

It’s very reliable and very competitive.

Both times it’s been serviced it’s gotten some new parts, sure, but it’s ready again to go out and send its EVO 9 up the road as fast as it can go.

This is why the MF-E was invented. This is why you buy a Holinger Gearbox in general. Think years or decades of use. Not in terms of only your next race meeting…….

Last weekend was the 50th Central Machine Hire Otago Rally. It’s one of the best rally’s in the world. It’s unique in that it has a proper modern component and the phenomenal classic rally within a rally attracting WRC stars past and sometimes present. We’ve always got a great contingent of friends from across the globe attending, whether competing, spannering or spectating. But every now and then a really special car shows up. The Porsche 997 GT3 Cup Car holds a special place in our hearts. We produced over 2000 kits for them when raced around the world. So seeing them live on in other arenas is awesome! This is not the first gravel rally 997, but we have a feeling it may end up being one of the most popular when put to work on the phenomenal roads of NZ. Well done Ari Pettigrew on your performance both on and off the stages here!
