We’ve been a little quiet on here, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy! 🔧🔊

🔊 Custom Build Spotlight: 2012 Scion tC! 🔊

We’ve been so busy with lighting upgrades and remote starts lately that we almost forgot to show off this finished custom audio build! 😎🔥

This 2012 Scion tC is getting a serious bass upgrade with a custom-fabricated, ported enclosure designed for THREE JL Audio W7 12s! The subs are currently on order, and we can’t wait to hear this thing come to life. 💥

Here’s what went into the build:

🔩 Custom Steel Mounting Brackets — Fabricated from flat-stock steel and designed to secure the enclosure directly to the factory rear seat bolt locations after removal of the rear seats.

🪚 Fully Trimmed Custom Enclosure — Built and trimmed in for a clean, integrated look that makes the setup feel like it belongs in the car.

📐 Custom False Floor — Added to provide a solid mounting surface for the amplifier rack when the customer orders their amp, leaving us ready for the next stage of the build.

This is what we love about custom audio: building something that fits the vehicle, looks clean, and is designed around the customer's vision. And we're not done yet! 👀

Stay tuned for the next phase when those W7s arrive and we get this system powered up. This one should be LOUD! 🔊🔥

🔊 2012 Scion tC Build Update! 🔊

The enclosure is in, and now we’re making serious progress on the finishing touches! 🔥

The custom trim panels are officially BUILT! They still need some sanding, shaping, and a little more love before they’re ready for final finish, but the hard part of getting them made and fitted is done. 💪

We’ve also got the false floor built, bringing the whole setup one step closer to looking like a finished, integrated install instead of just a massive subwoofer enclosure sitting in the back. 😎

This build is coming together piece by piece, and we’re excited to see the final product once everything is smoothed out, finished, and installed properly.

🔊 **THREE W7AE’S. ONE CUSTOM BUILD. 🔊**

We just wrapped up a **custom enclosure built specifically to support three JL Audio W7AE subwoofers**, and it’s now **bolted securely into a 2012 Scion tC**. 🔥

The plan is to feed all three W7AE’s with a **Rockford Fosgate T2500**, making this one seriously powerful setup. 💪💥

We’re not stopping with the box, either — the next step is **custom-trimming the enclosure with fabricated trim panels** to give the whole setup a clean, finished, integrated look inside the tC.

Big bass, custom fabrication, and a setup built specifically for the vehicle. 👀🔊

This week at Safe & Sound, we had the pleasure of upgrading two very different trucks—each with its own goals, and both with outstanding results.

We installed an Audison sealed 10" subwoofer powered by a JL Audio 500/1 amplifier, giving this Tacoma the deep, clean bass it deserved. The result? Tight, musical low end that blends perfectly with the factory system for an impressive listening experience.
