We couldnt resist throwing some new shoes on the mustang for a few pics before it left.

The first time i shot this car in may, it honestly came out awful. I had issues with contamination, a bad batch of paint, i even had one of my air filters fail in the middle of a round of clear and blow apart. If it couldve gone wrong, it did. 😂 luckily the owner gave me the chance to redo it and make it right.

This time came out much better, and its somethin im proud to have my name on. If you see it out and about or at a show, be sure to take a look at it. The car is beautiful and the owner's a really cool dude.

I'm not on facebook much, but heres a couple pictures of what's been going on at the shop the last week.

Got the mustang finished up and added the blackout lines and hood pattern.

Got a 90s chevy in for a two tone white/orange pattern with a sweet midcoat. We got the cab in primer and door jambs painted already. The bed is gettin metal/bodywork right now.

Quick fix on some harley parts.

The 00 single cab is in high build primer waiting to be block sanded.

By the time you can see rust coming through the paint, its too late to just treat and touch up, the panel will need cut away and patched with new metal. This spot was corroded bad enough to just pick away with a finger.

The key is getting to it and replacing it before the rust works its way to the INNER structure of the truck, like we did here. This girl's getting some new cab corners and rocker panels this week, and the inside structure will get coated with a rust inhibitor to keep it healthy.

If you see bubbles in your paint, get them fixed before they become a big problem.

Things like this are why its important to take a car to bare metal before a full refinish. Previous repair that you couldnt see under the paint, with rust forming underneath it. Not a big deal to fix now, but if i handn't found it, it would've become a big issue soon.

Had an elbow injury that limited me to pretty much part time work at the shop the last 2 weeks, but its all healed now and it feels good to be back building cars full time again.

Pretty busy weekend, but managed to knock out a quick little 9x12 wall panel for a local girls birthday. As much as i love cars, its really fun doing oddball stuff like this.

Tamco base colors and Ed Roth flake with House of Kolor carrier.

We'll see how the clear flows out tonight, may give it a quick cut and rub in the morning before delivery.

Finished sprayin at about 430am, got it (partially) back together at noon and drove it to the car show. No emblems, trim, or flares yet but theyre comin.

Turned 100+ hours the last week getting her painted, but the looks its getting already are absolutely worth it.

Back to the shop for some cut/buff and touchup work
