Just bought a new vehicle? Read this before you do anything else.

A lot of people assume new paint is already protected, but Alaska conditions don’t give you much time before salt, grime, and daily use start taking a toll. We put together a breakdown of why ceramic coating early matters and what to look for if you’re considering it.

This is what proper prep looks like.

A freshly cleaned undercarriage, fully rinsed and stripped of winter buildup, is where real protection starts. Every surface has to be clean before anything goes on, otherwise you’re sealing in the very moisture and grime you’re trying to protect against.

Undercoating is only as good as the prep behind it. In Alaska, where salt, moisture, and road debris are constant, taking the time to do this right is what makes the difference between short-term coverage and long-term protection.

Before any undercoating goes on, the prep has to be perfect.

After a full undercarriage wash, we blow dry the entire underside to remove trapped water from seams, crossmembers, and tight areas you can’t see. If moisture is left behind, you’re sealing it in—and that’s not how you get long-term protection.

This step is critical to making sure the coating bonds properly and does what it’s supposed to do.

In Alaska, shortcuts don’t hold up. Proper prep is what makes undercoating last.

Alaska roads don’t just beat up the outside of your vehicle. Mud, sand, moisture, salt, and winter grime get tracked inside all season long.

That’s why interior restoration matters too. Our steam cleaning process helps break down built-up dirt, clean hard-to-reach areas, and refresh the cabin the right way.

A clean interior feels better, lasts longer, and makes every drive better.

If your vehicle took a beating this winter, now is the time to reset it for spring.

Bought a new Toyota? Read this before your first Alaska winter.

Tacomas, 4Runners, Tundras, and Land Cruisers are built tough, but salt, grime, moisture, and winter roads still take a toll underneath. Protecting your Toyota early can save wear, corrosion, and headaches down the road.

We just put together a new blog explaining why undercoating a new Toyota before winter is one of the smartest moves you can make in Alaska.

Winter grime doesn’t just sit on the paint, it builds up underneath where the most damage can happen.

That’s why we thoroughly rinse the undercarriage to flush out salt, sand, mud, and the buildup that leads to corrosion over time. Proper cleaning underneath is a big part of protecting any Alaska vehicle.

Spring is the time to wash away winter and start fresh. Message us if your vehicle needs attention.
