Girl-boat Kodiak Trip report: these 3 women are having a blast sailing Alaska’s incredible rugged coastline, spotting wildlife, and enjoying some of the best summer weather Alaska has to offer.
This special Basic to Bareboat course provides the opportunity for these women to learn to sail while stepping outside their comfort zone and building confidence on the water. Together, they’re safely navigating into anchorages and across open-water passages, carefully monitoring weather forecasts, sea conditions, and navigation instruments along the way.
And of course, sailing with a buddy boat provides a few extra perks: added piece of mind (like when you need more syrup), plenty of encouragement, and more than a few laughs (like when the boys swamp their dinghy)!
