What Does Our Vehicle Inspection Actually Cover?

At Mose Auto Sales, we do not believe a clean exterior and a history report are enough to determine whether a vehicle is ready for the road.

Before a vehicle is listed for sale, it goes through an inspection in our shop that may include:

• Engine performance and fluid condition
• Transmission operation
• Brakes, rotors, and remaining pad life
• Tire condition, tread depth, and matching sizes
• Steering and suspension components
• Battery and charging system
• Exterior lights, signals, and safety equipment
• Heating and air-conditioning operation
• Fluid leaks and visible signs of deferred maintenance
• Warning lights, stored diagnostic codes, and onboard systems
• Road-test performance, including braking, shifting, alignment, vibration, and unusual noises

When we find an issue, we evaluate whether it should be repaired, disclosed, or whether the vehicle should be removed from consideration altogether.

No inspection can guarantee that a used vehicle will never need another repair. What it can do is provide a clearer understanding of the vehicle’s current condition and reduce the chance of preventable surprises.

We would rather explain what we found, show you the condition of the vehicle, and help you make an informed decision than rely on pressure or vague promises.

That same approach applies whether you are purchasing one of our vehicles or bringing us a vehicle you are considering buying somewhere else.

Mose Auto Sales is now accepting a limited number of vehicles for consignment.

If you have a vehicle you are ready to sell but do not want to deal with endless messages, no-shows, questionable payment methods, or strangers coming to your home, we may be able to help.

Our goal is to make the process straightforward and transparent. We can assist with evaluating your vehicle, establishing a realistic market price, preparing and advertising it, communicating with potential buyers, arranging showings and test drives, and handling the sales process through our dealership.

Consignment may be a good option if:
• You do not want to trade your vehicle in for less than it is worth

• You want professional exposure without managing the sale yourself

• You have a specialty, enthusiast, luxury, truck, SUV, or well-maintained vehicle

• You value convenience but still want a fair return

We are not looking to fill our lot with overpriced vehicles that sit for months. Pricing needs to be fair to the seller, attractive to the buyer, and grounded in the actual market.

One thing we want people to know is that we are not limited to selling whatever happens to be sitting on the lot.

If you’re in the market for a specific car, truck, or SUV, we may be able to help you locate it, evaluate it, and work through the acquisition process with you.

That means looking beyond the listing photos and asking the questions that actually matter:

What does the vehicle history show?

Has it been properly inspected?

Is the price fair for the condition, mileage, and market?

Are there signs of previous damage, poor repairs, or deferred maintenance?

Does the vehicle actually fit your needs, or is someone simply trying to sell it to you?

Our goal is not to force a vehicle into someone’s budget or move inventory at their expense. We would rather help someone make a better decision, even if that means walking away from the wrong car.
