Just a word of caution to our West Seattle neighbors - several years ago, we had a rash of thieves drilling holes in fuel tanks and draining them. Since fuel prices have jumped, I'm hearing reports of this happening again. Haven't heard about any in WS yet, but be proactive and aware of where you are parked. Catalytic converters are bad enough, but they don't even bother siphoning the fuel and just drill into the tank - ruining it and making it impossible to drive your vehicle.
Just a heads up to other local West Seattle business owners - we came in this morning to find someone had cut a hole in our gate and tried to cut the locks but didn't succeed. Maybe they got scared away, maybe they gave up. Either way, we feel fortunate that the only other thing we can see damaged is our upstairs neighbor's mailbox (pried open). Please keep an eye out for suspicious activity! Have a good weekend, everyone!

We are open and continue to be available to our community. Auto Repair is an "Essential Business", both federally and here in WA state. We have been taking precautions and put measures into place to help protect our employees and customers during these challenging times. We keep our distance, we use PPE to protect ourselves, we are sanitizing keys and high-touch areas in the vehicles, as well as common areas in the office area and shop. We are limiting our contact with our parts suppliers and having them leave deliveries outside. We will pick up and deliver your vehicle for you, so you can have a "no-contact" service visit in the Greater West Seattle area and we have our after hours drop to use as well. We can take payments over the phone and we can send you an invoice by email or text, so we have many options to serve you during this crisis. Having a properly maintained vehicle is likely not at the top of most people's list, but if you are finding yourself at home and not needing your vehicle as much, this could be a great time to get caught up on some needed service or repairs. We are so grateful to our friends and neighbors here in West Seattle and we know that we will see the end of this outbreak and start to return to normal soon!
