Over the weekend, some photos circulated online showing one of our Michigan Driving Schools vehicles briefly stuck in a snowbank. We want to address the situation directly and share the positive learning that came from it.
During a left‑hand turn, a student did not allow the steering wheel to turn back correctly and accidentally pressed the accelerator. The vehicle slid into the median snowbank before the instructor could intervene. Situations like this can arise quickly and are a normal part of the learning process for new drivers.
Most importantly, no one was injured, and the vehicle sustained no damage. A tow truck assisted in freeing the car, and the student and instructor safely completed the remainder of their lesson.
We want to acknowledge and support our instructor, who handled the moment calmly and professionally. Our team is committed to guiding students through real‑world driving experiences with safety, patience, and care.
At Michigan Driving Schools, we believe every experience, big or small, helps students grow into confident, responsible drivers. We appreciate our community’s understanding and continued trust.
If you have any questions about our training procedures or how we support our students and instructors, we’re always here to talk
