This page is dedicated to our exclusive fan base, which is not the biggest, just the best! Vision Industries, LLC was formed in 1997 and in 1998 completed a white foam and fiberglass non-operational vehicle code named K/2, which was initially constructed for design evaluation purposes.(The name K/2 connotes "peak" performance with respect to one of the world's highest mountains.) The "mus

cular" design theme of the VISION K/2 is intended to connote power and performance in an American "muscle car" designed for the 21st century. In 1998 the VISION K/2 was exhibited at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and the Greater Los Angeles International Auto Show. The VISION K/2 was the last automobile designed by Tom Kellogg, a respected American automotive designer. In 2005 the first VISION SZR running prototype was constructed, (painted charcoal gray), which retained the design theme of the original K/2, but differed in the respect that every body panel was modified to incorporate a longer wheelbase, wider greenhouse, in addition to various other modifications. In it's early stages, a 6.0 liter V12 engine was mounted in the VISION SZR. With further engineering development, the VISION SZR was decommissioned and revisions with respect to the chassis, suspension, and interior commenced. In addition, at this time, the V12 engine was replaced by a Chevrolet 502 Ramjet V8 engine which produces 500 horsepower and 500 ft/lbs. of torque. In 2007, after the incorporation of these improvements, the car was painted PPG Vibrance metallic pearl orange, (and remains this color today). The updated VISION SZR was first exhibited at the 2007 SEMA Show. The car has undergone several improvements over the years, with continued improvements to the body, chassis, suspension, and drive train.

BEWARE: UNAUTHORIZED USE OF “VISION” NAME

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of companies and motor vehicles which have come to market utilizing the “Vision” name, (for example, Vision Industries, Corp; Vision Motor Corp; Vision Motors; Vision Motor Cars; Vision GT; Vision Gran Turismo; etc.), and which can be confusingly similar to our trademarked name, “VISION SZR”. However, please be advised that these companies and/or vehicles are in no way associated or affiliated with the original VISION SZR, or its parent company, Vision Industries, LLC. It has also been brought to our attention that various motor vehicle related companies have solicited funding under the “Vision” name, and/or may be inferring to be associated/affiliated with our brand - VISION SZR and Vision Industries, LLC. (One company, known as Vision Industries, Corp., has recently filed bankruptcy, and unfortunate individuals will likely realize a loss on their investment.) Please be advised that Vision Industries, LLC and the VISION SZR are completely funded by our internal management team, and we do not solicit outside investments of any kind.

Last weekend, we supported our friends at Ruby's Diner in Redondo Beach at their 7th Annual Christmas Car Show, helping to raise toys for less fortunate kids this Christmas. (Didn't expect anything in return, but found this on our car at the end of the show!) Thanks to Ruby's Diner Redondo Beach, Larry Neville, Chris Licata, and Beach Coast Insurance.

goldRush Rally GR7EVEN, "Midnight Run".

San Diego, Las Vegas, Santa Fe, Austin, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Miami. June 5th-13th 2015.

We are proud to say that this will be the best combination of routes and events planned since the inception of GR rally in 2009. The GR7™ "Midnight Run" will commence in San Diego on Friday Night with our kickoff party. The participating teams then depart from San Diego on Saturday to arrive in Las Vegas at Midnight. After spending the day and another night in Las Vegas, we depart Sin City on Monday morning. Our participants will be traveling to Santa Fe and then Austin for two days (Circuit of The Americas F1 Track). We are then off to the city of New Orleans and Jacksonville before arriving in Miami on Saturday for our finale.

We are extremely excited for this year's adventure and hope to see all of you at the starting line in San Diego.
