Heron Lakes at Portland International Raceway

The fourth race of our 2026 series takes place at Portland International Raceway, this time at the Heron Lakes course! In addition to the classic features you know and love (The Monolith!), expect a brand new and super fun race course! Our course designers work very hard to make your racing and spectating experience the best, and this Sunday will prove it! Portland International Raceway is a fantastic venue for racers and spectators alike! You won’t want to miss it!
For those of you racing the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) CX Championship, this will be your final chance to dial in your racing skills before the big races in Independence, Oregon! We hope you will come out and spend your Sunday with us!
Here is some information to help you plan your weekend:
* To arrive at this Sunday’s race venue, enter through the main gate of PIR. Once you reach the end of the paved road, take a left and head West. Follow the signs to parking.
* For our out of town racers, we are offering RV camping (sorry, no tents). Please email hello .com to get on the camping list!
* Everyone is welcome and invited to all of our races! Feel free to bring a canopy tent and set up alongside the race course. You don’t need to be on a team to set up a tent! Due to an event on Saturday, unfortunately we are unable to allow tents to set up on Saturday. Please allow extra time Sunday morning for this. The parking area is very close to where you’ll want to set up, so no need to email us to be on a list.
* There is no course preview on Saturday. Please plan to attend the course previews on Sunday (see our day of race schedule).
* Online registration closes Saturday at 1:00 pm. You can also sign up to race at the venue on Sunday. Scanning the QR code near the registration trailer before you get to the front of the line will save you some time!
* Last call for Mister Tacos! Heron Lakes is the final race for Mister Tacos! Our friend Carlos makes it out to all the races he can, and this is the last one for the year. He needs to leave at 2pm for a family event Sunday, so get your order in early! Be sure to let Carlos know how much we love him coming to our races so we can see him again in 2027!
* To let our friend Dave Roth know that we are all thinking of him, we kindly request that anyone playing loud music select songs from the following artists:. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, the song “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond (we also recommend DJ Otzi’s version!) * Merch for sale! As you may or may not know, we recently got broken into and lost a ton of expensive gear. By purchasing some of our merch (and Red Bull!), you are really helping to support us now more than ever and we truly appreciate it! We are also down to just a few of our custom branded Big Bobble Hats, so if you want one, get it now!
* The Team Competition is really heating up! The team with the lowest points for the series will be declared the victor! The victorious team at the end of the season earn call-ups for the following year! Team Bo**er has dropped out of the top 5 and Dialed Cycling has moved in!
