2026 Olympus Recap Post!

Firstly, thanks to the hundreds of volunteers that make this all possible. No one would let us do this if it weren't for all the people behind the scenes making sure stages are clear, talking with neighbors to establish "Quiet Zones", let alone all the logistics in time controls, flagging, sweep, radio, medics, etc.
Immense thanks. Hard to put into words...

So much time spent in the Raptor. Great truck. It took us to Shelton on Tuesday afternoon the event and we left Monday morning.
6 days total. 3 days of racing. 2 days of recce. Easily over 1000 miles driven, not including the miles watched doing video review.

I shook Jari-Matti Latvala's hand. 🤩

I thought we were going to DNF when I was late to a note early into the first stage of Saturday.
About 1.5 miles into the first pass of Dayton, in a fast section:
"flat left 30 flat right into short 5 right nips 3 left"
I was late to calling the 3.

We sacrificed our front right control arm.
Michael still put in some incredibly fast times!!
Left turns were sketchy af without a control arm. A testament to Michael's ability as a driver! 👏🏻

Some of you may have said hi to Alex and thought it was Michael lol. Always a good time when we have the twins together!
Family and friends that came through also helped cook amazing warm food for us to eat at service!

2025 was a solid season! Couldn't have done it without the smooth driving of . Here's to a few more miles in 2026!

RallySprints don't count for championship points, but it sure as hell was fun to ride with too!

Huge thanks to the event organizers and many volunteers for making this crazy sport possible.

Thanks always to our fellow competitors for keeping things exciting and always supporting me and anyone you service next to.

is a weapon in a mostly stock 1994 Toyota Celica GT. The momentum he carried through turns was truly impressive! I think he found every last horsepower that's in the car and trusted the notes in the fog to get the 3rd overall best stage time even in some pretty heavy fog. We managed to pull in 10th overall of 32 entrants and a 1st in class! 🥇

saved my day with a Stilo to Zero Noise intercom adapter. Absolute legend.

stepped in last minute to smooth out our service and get a little muddy cleaning and changing tires.

Last photo is the screenshot of pumpkin pie we used on my phone with max brightness to illuminate my notes for the night stages. Basically the same as an amber reading light. 🥧🎃

Thanks to all the amazing volunteers with for making such a cool event happen! The road was incredible! 👏🏼

2025 is done!

and the crew has put a ton of work into this car.

The car still gas some issues we want to sort through, but the brakes were feeling better... tracking down some electrical gremlins which put us into a limp for the entire last stage. 😭

Press on regardless!

Michael kept the momentum up and we managed to walk away 6th overall and 3rd in class! 🥉

Major thanks to and for running crew and getting the car through scrutineering while we ran recce. Super smooth event with their help.

Quick recap.

Had an awesome time jumping back in a car with . After our big crash 2 years ago, we worked to get some rust off and found some good pace throughout the weekend. Kept it tidy through to the end and I'm stoked to see what more this new car has in it.

We've got one more stage to share before I step away from my computer for a week and attend a friend's wedding!

Notes felt pretty solid, even though it had been a while since we had used Jemba. Maybe a couple of stutters in note delivery - especially since it was the first pass - but Josh Gierman and I got pretty locked in for a solid speed factor of 80.92!

(Also, always bring cash for lemonade during recce)

During recce, the family that lives just past the "BE HAPPY" bridge around 2:45 was selling lemonade and cookies. 10/10 would recommend.SS5: Oak Flat Reverse...
