Cars & Coffee event April 2026. It was a rather large event this month. People were here early. Lots of nice cars to see. A couple unique ones as usual. You never know what you will see. If you have not checked one of these events out it is a must see. Catch them before the days get too hot out here in Arizona.

Monthly Cars & Coffee event. Weather is starting to get nicer every month that passes. More and more people turn out for this event. Almost get to the point where there’s no place to park. As you can see an amazing turnout. And some very cool vehicles.

Land Rover finally completed the highlight Rio for the 2025 trek competition. When we were out there, they were doing a lot of filming via cameras and drones and what not. I talked to the guys filming at the time and told them it was my third time doing this event and I had never made the highlight reel. I told him to help your brother out. So when I saw this was uploaded, I looked forward to checking it out. At :19 that is myself and my partner in the canoe. At :25 that is me running. At 1:28 that is me and my partner canoeing. At 1:36 that is me holding the canoe for a team. Shorts clips but I am in. I was hoping for a more prominent full frame highlight but no dice.

Land Rover and the Penske Automotive Block was nearing the end of our day on Christmas Eve. And who should make the rounds to spread a little holiday cheer but Santa himself.

Gorgeous, clear, cool 70° morning here in Arizona. Great day for our monthly cars and coffee event. Quite a nice turnout this month. Couple new cars I had not seen before. You never know when you come to this event what you might see.

I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing customer, Asha. A young, up-and-coming woman, with her own business and doing well. She had a bad experience at another dealership where they didn’t take her seriously, gave her the runaround for five hours on a car. They didn’t even have only to tell her they couldn’t help her. She came over here and I gave her a VIP class by an experience. We found the car she wanted, got her approved and to put icing on the cake. I set up this amazing delivery/revealed. I even had her mom help me out. She was over the top and as you can hear in the video which I didn’t know until I saw the video after as to what she had said, “Dreams do come, true”. Feel good moment for all those involved!

1950 Land Rover Series I 80 Soft Top. “Pollyanna” was owned and named by an Australian adventurer Barbara Toy. She drive it solo from London to Baghdad to visit a friend. You can read about this trip in her first book, A Fool on Wheels. I will have to check it out.

I have a second toy car that I have access to. This is a Defender. Just fun to set up some perspectives that make it look like a real car. Having a rainy day or water on the ground adds to the reflection, which is cool.
