After a very successful 16 year partnership with Polaris Industries, Jagged X Racing will no longer be involved in the Polaris RZR Factory Racing efforts. This is a major change for us and we are still processing the impacts. As many are aware, we have been very anxiously anticipating the 2023 racing season. We were very excited to launch the new season with the new Polaris RZR Pro R.
In 2007 Jagged X was named as an aftermarket development partner with Polaris in preparation for the release of the revolutionary new Ranger RZR vehicle. Throughout this partnership Jagged X was involved very heavily in the continued development of the RZR. In the years to come Jagged X assisted in many projects, including many marketing projects, new model launches, advertising production projects and media events. Jagged X also worked very closely with the engineering departments, particpating in new product testing and product validation for many new platforms as the RZR evolved. Jagged X was also very proud to have worked with Polaris on the Limited Edition Jagged X Racing model.
In addition to the aftermarket partnership, Jagged X Racing was also formed as the first Polaris factory supported desert racing program. Jagged X built and competed with the very first RZR to race in sanctioned desert racing. Jagged X Racing has proved to be one of the most recognizable names in off road UTV racing and the accomplishments are significant. Jagged X has accumulated dozens of class wins in both Best In The Desert and SCORE International racing series. Jagged X has scored wins in nearly every major desert racing event including The Mint 400, Silver State 300, and Parker 250 as well as wins in The SCORE San Felipe 250, Baja 500, and the 50th anniversary Baja 1000 along with 6 wins at the BITD Vegas to Reno race. Jagged X wins, and podium finishes have earned the team 6 BITD series championships along with 2 SCORE championships and even one win at the well-known King of The Hammers. This year was the tenth year competing the SCORE International Racing series where we completed 9 and half seasons before we failed to complete a race. Jagged X has competed in and finished more desert races in major series than any other race team.
Jagged X has been a major supporter and contributor to the side by side community and the sport of UTV racing for nearly two decades. We have developed long term relationships with many top off road product manufacturers such as BFGoodrich Tires, KC HiLiTES, Inc., FOX, All Balls Racing Group, OMF Performance Products, Rockford Fosgate, PRP Seats, Shock Therapy, Sandcraft RCR, Rugged Radios, Factory UTV, Five18 Designs and many, many more. These are relationships that we greatly respect and are very thankful for. All of our supporters have contributed to our success. We are also very grateful to all the great friendships that we have created and the many great people we have worked with at Polaris and the opportunity we have had to support the brand and to be a part of something as significant to the industry as RZR!
We want to thank everyone who has followed our racing story over the years, and to those who have pledged their time and efforts to help in our success. We want to believe that for every door that closes, another will open.
