Adam was a big hit with the kids. Lots of folks yelling for the speedway. I almost lost my voice yelling that we have sprints next week, and that kids 10 and under are free. Got great mention on KSBY coverage and on several of the announcer areas along the route.

Great to be able to expose racing careers to students in the “Make Your Space” classes at Templeton High School for middle schoolers learning engineering and building skills. Thank you to Randi Pankratz and her USAC Midget team for taking the time to talk to these kids. And they let us take a few laps around their track.

Saturday Night Lights!

Hobby Stocks - It was a classic East vs. West battle between Colby Quinton, Ricky Childress Jr. and Tom Grzincic. Quinton outlasted the pressure to score his first SMS victory of 2026.

IMCA Northern SportMods - After a DNF last weekend, young rising star Landon King turned things around in a big way with a win at his hometown track.

IMCA Modifieds - Starting eighth on the grid, Tyler Bannister methodically worked his way through the field. Following a caution on lap seventeen, Bannister took the lead the next lap and never looked back to secure his second SMS win of the season.
